Nanopores

The core of TRPS

Pores
Pores are at the core of TRPS - being the restriction across which the resistance is measured.  Izon's pores are unique in terms of their tunability and robustness, and as a consumable item can be easily replaced as needed.

Nanopores
Nanopores (NP) are conical holes formed in flexible polyurethane membranes.  On the qNano and qViro-X platforms, these can be stretched to optimise the nanopore size to the particles being measured.
There are nine nanopore sizes, which cover an analysis range of <40 nm to >10 μm.  Refer to the specification chart to select the best nanopore size for your application.

Micropores
There are four micropore (MP) sizes, which cover an analysis range of <5 μm to >300 μm.  Refer to the specification chart to select the best micropore size for your application.
Micropore stretch is not adjusted on the qMicro platform, but size calibration is still integral to ensure the accuracy of each measurement.
