Nanomechanics, Inc. and Schaefer South-East Europe Srl invite you to attend the First European Users' Forum on October the 9th at Roma TRE University in Rome. The event will be hosted by the Roma TRE Engineering department. Dr. Warren Oliver (president of Nanomechanics, Inc) will give an overview of the most recent advances in nanoindentation testing with a specific focus on novel instrumentation and in situ testing.
The Invited Speakers
Dr. Warren Oliver (NMI)
Prof. Alexander M. Korsunsky (University of Oxford)
Prof. Karsten Durst (Technical University Darmstadt)
Prof. Rostislav Daniel (Montanuniversität Leoben)
Dr. Ing. Marco Sebastiani (Roma TRE)
The symposium will be held in a relaxed setting with a morning session of oral presentations and an afternoon session with practical demonstration on the newly developed iNano and InSEM nanoindentation systems
The symposium is intended for both academic and industry research fellows who are active in the field of mechanical characterization of advanced materials and devices on a nano-scale.
Abstracts
Nanomechanics scientists and Ph. D students are kindly invited to send abstract to this email address: marco.sebastiani@uniroma3.it.
The oral presentations must not be longer to 15 minutes
The InSEM is a tool for characterizing the mechanical properties of surfaces or structures, which is designed to function with sub-nanometer resolution in an in-situ vacuum environment such as an SEM or FIB.
